Quest Riddle

To be successful in your search you need to have friends.
Not the sometimes kind, but the ones that are there through it all.
The kind of friendships that will last forever.
Some roots lead to 1775, Some roots you will have to Chase down
Either way you would be wrong and either way you would be near.
There are no rookies here, ours didn’t come to play.
A.R.
O.O.A.
H.C.C.
T.W.D.
A.F.
The 5 work together to ensure us a lot, but there is only one where X marks the spot.  Not on the front, it won’t be that quick, but relax and breath easy, it’s not on a brick.  Facebook message us the answer to each acronym, 1 is for her and 4 are for him.   Identify which one to whom the X must belong, you only get 1 try, so don’t get it wrong.

Quest break down

Here is the break down of our crazy minds.
To be successful in this search, you need to have friends. (A quick reference to friendship)
Not the sometimes kind, but the ones that are there through it all. (Sometimes is not forever)The kind where friendships last forever. (The City of Swartz Creek Motto “Where Friendships Last Forever, Wikipedia would have been your friend for this one)
Some roots lead to 1775, (The US Postal Service was founded in 1775)
some roots you will have to Chase down. (A reference to Chase bank)
Either way you would be wrong and either way you would be near. (The location is between the USPS Post Office and the Chase Bank in Swartz Creek)
There are no rookies here, (In sports, if you are not a rookie, you are a veteran.)
ours didn’t come to play. (A reference to the location: The Swartz Creek area Veterans Memorial)
A.R. (Always Ready. The Motto of The Coast Guard “Semper Paratus”)
O.O.A. (One Over All. The Motto of the Air Force)
H.C.C. (Honor Courage Commitment. The Motto of the Navy)
T.W.D. (This We’ll Defend. The Motto of the Army)
A.F. (Always Faithful. The Motto of the Marines “Semper Fidelis)
The 5 work separately yet together to ensure us a lot, (The 5 branches are each separate, but all belong to the US Military)
but there is only one where X marks the spot. (There is a clear X on one of the bronze statues where the parachute straps crossover each other)
Not on the front, it won’t be that quick, (Obviously the straps and X are on the back, not the front)
but relax and breathe easy, it’s not on a brick. (Thank goodness, because there are a lot of engraved bricks at the Veterans Memorial)
Facebook message us the answer to each acronym, 1 is for her and 4 are for him. (Of the 5 statues, 1 is a female, and 4 are males)
Identify which one to whom the X must belong, you only get 1 try, so don’t get it wrong. (And the statue with the X on it belongs to the US Air Force representative statue)
