This event takes place on December 26th, 2022 @10am. The end of the event simply depends on how long it takes for teams to solve the puzzles and find the treasure..

Play will start at 10a on December 26th, when we send out a message that your group will need to work together to decode. This initial message leads to our Spymaker team where you will choose your box. If you have not solved this initial location by noon, we will provide the location where to find the Spymaker Staff and obtain your box. This ensures that if you get “stuck” with the initial decoding, you still will have a chance to move forward.

Our treasure hunt would be best defined as a wild mix of escape room, scavenger hunt, & teamwork.  You will obtain PHYSICAL box that will need to be decoded. 

Groups are limited to 5 people per booking.  If you have more than 5, simply have 1 booking for every 5 players.

Kinda. In past hunts you would receive your clues via Facebook, figure out the location and then provide us with the answers to receive the next clue. 

However, this year, you and your group will find us from the riddle to obtain your box. Inside your box are items that you and your group will need decode to find the treasures location.  

Once you find the location, the searching begins.  

The first group to find the treasure (GPS locator) will be the winner. 

Based on the number of entires, There will be up to 3 different versions of the treasure hunt, which end in 3 identically valued treasures, in 3 separate locations. This ensures a better playing experience for everyone as there will be less chance of large groups converging on one another and giving away clues or locations.

You and your group will get 1 box to 1  locations.

*Spymaker reserves the right to condense the locations based on entries.  In the event that happens, prize pot will be divided equally between remaining location(s).

No, none at all. Once the first riddle goes out there will be no communication, with the exception to inform everyone that a treasure has been found.

We will be utilizing email as our primary message sending medium, and our back up will be txt messages. We will not longer be using Facebook. It is your responsibility to add us as a safe sender and check your spam folder to make sure that nothing goes astray! All email headers will contain the phrase SPYMAKER NATIONAL TREASURE HUNT.
